in most cases it isn't really hard to figure out where to start your thread. It takes forever to move around threads and threads every day and then leave the "shadow topic" so that those interested can still find their thread and then delete the "shadow topics" once enough time has been given to make sure all know how to find it for some days.

For moderators, it is a real agony to have to do this almost every day. Now, we're glad to help, but why inflict such a pain on us and waste time we could dedicate more fruitfully to review discussions, offer answers and provide help where it is really needed?

Therefore, while it's ok to have to move a thread here and there every now and then - being unsure as to where to post is not impossible after all - you would do everybody a big favor if you took the time to THINK of the right section instead of just dumping new threads to the "Coffee & Donuts" (or any other) forum.

Oh, and sign your posts with some real name.

the forums are again a cemetery of "shadow topics" originated by moved threads. Maybe we should implement a "3 strikes" rule for habitual offenders?
