A Christian television station broadcasting in the Arabic world has aired a statement by a man identified as a Kuwaiti prince, proclaiming his faith in Jesus Christ.
The videotaped statement quotes Abdullah al Sabah as declaring that he is a Christian. Regarding Islam's prohibition against religious conversions, he says that "if they kill me because of it, then I will appear before Jesus Christ and be with Him for all eternity."
The government of Kuwait said that the video is a fraud, and pointed out that there is no one named Abdullah al Sabah in the Kuwaiti royal family.

A member of Kuwait’s royal family, Prince Al- Abdullah Al-Sabah has converted to Christianity.
An Arab satellite channel called Al-Haqiqa broadcasting Christian programs released an audio file allegedly recorded by Al-Sabah, NEWSru.com reported referring to Assist News.
“I fully agree to release of this material. I believe if I am killed, I will be with Jesus Christ forever,” said Prince in his address.
Prince also criticized Islamic groups which had seized power in Egypt.
“Groups of Islamists always wanted to attack different cities around the world but God protected and is still protecting the world. The differences amidst groups will grow, due to it they will divide into smaller ones,” the tape says.
Last October Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah was found guilty of the murder of his nephew Shaikh Basil Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and was sentenced to death.
So he's a murderer, but there's no such person? How odd.
