I would really appreciate your continued prayers for my wife. The allergy issues faded in September to be replaced by an unexplainable debilitating gastrointestinal pain. She's had extensive tests which have revealed nothing, but the pain is getting worse, not better. Today she broke down crying from the pain; this never happens to her. She deals with migraines and fibromyalgia and other issues but for her to break down is unheard of. It's severe pain and it is not going away. To see my mentally very tough wife break down just showed how terrible the pain is and how long it's been going on. It was hard to watch, too. Some prayers for our family would be appreciated too. Alex is starting to see Kym as sick all the time, and while I hate to say it, it's taking a serious toll on me, too.

I'm taking her to the doctor a bit later this morning, and perhaps to the ER after that. If you look at my posting history, she's been dealing with painful health issues for over a year now.

Thank you, my friends.

(My posting history requesting prayers for my wife's health is rather depressing)
October 2010, For my wife's allergies
September 2011, For my wife, just for today.
April 2012, For my wife, a six month illness

I'm praying for her, Jeff. To either be relieved or to endure. It's not apparent right now, but there is some reason for this suffering in God's good plans. May you both be confident in this.

Thank you all.

An important reminder, Dean. We are Catholic, and we know that God values suffering. It remains hard, but knowing that there is purpose to it is itself a comfort.

Could your wife have an allergy or intolerance to something, say wheat? Have you checked your home for mold or radon? I will continue to include all of you in my prayers.

Prayers are going up Jeff. Coping with someone as close to you who is sick, is worse than being sick oneself. I know from bitter experience, as I know do some others on this Forum.
Please God the medicos will find an answer.

Keep hoping and praying as the rest of us will.

God Bless

Peter
