Now that it appears we will have four more years of Mr. Obama, let us pray for our country.

And let us pray for our Church, for surely he could not have won had all Catholics voted for life.

And let us pray for the poor and the defenseless, both in America and across the world, for I suspect none will suffer as much as a result of this election as will they.
