Does anyone know whether we will ever be able to change our avatar again? I DO enjoy changing it from time to time.

I wonder if disabling that ability is because of the difficulty in policing them. I can imagine that with a forum this size, there have been a lot of problematical images posted for avatars.

I will consider your position if stated with firm, well-thought-out, quiet reasoning. Hateful diatribe, ad hominem attacks and shouted rhetoric don't impress.

As far as I know, it is simply a malfunction. We staff members do have control of that function, and we have not turned it off. Perhaps the ownership has done so, but I am unaware of their doing so.

Through the years I do not recall many Avatars that were offensive...a few, but not a notable amount. Keep in mind there are very, very few repeat offenders around here on objectionable photos.
