As I do each Lent, today I am beginning a short daily reflection through the Lenten Season. I've decided to share it here this year.

No particular reason. Just thought I would share.

To begin with, Message of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, for Lent 2013

Today's (Ash Wednesday) meditation:

I just realized that I did not acknowledge authorship of these reflections. They are from a pamphlet passed out at Church on Ash Wednesday:

The Word Among Us (Five-minutes with the WORD, Lent 2013)

… and it occurs to me that I am probably violating a copyright by posting these.

Each Lenten Day's reading is available for free on the appropriate day at the above-listed web page.

… So as much as I enjoy the effort of decorating the text with photos and posting them, and as well-intentioned as was my effort, If you want to read the daily meditation, just go to Today's Meditation each day of Lent and read it, knowing that I will be doing the same with my little pamphlet, which was (presumably) paid for by the parish!
