Chiefs reportedly get Alex Smith

Their last starting quarterback was a starter because of an injury to an undoubtedly future hall-of-fame quarterback.

That hasn't worked out as well as expected.

Maybe signing a quarterback who lost his starting job to what could turn to to be a future hall-of-fame quarterback (too early to tell, yet) because of injury may work out better.

Smith was playing well when he got hurt — had the best rating in the league.

We can only hope!
