"After a bizarre call went against the Detroit Lions, an assistant coach kicked his playbook . To give you an idea what kind of day it was for the Lions, the kicked playbook hit the goalpost’s crossbar and bounced off."

Lions' Ndamukong Suh could face suspension for kicking Matt Schaub

Bad call yes, but loss totally on Head Coach, for rules violation.

The head coach at the time was saying it was all on him.

The NFL has said they're likely to change the rule that precludes booth review if a coach throws a red flag on an unreviewable play. It does seem pretty unjust.

Seemed a pretty dumb rule to me, but won't do the Lions any good.

If there is an obscure rule that would hurt the Lions chances to win, the Lions will ensure they do whatever it is to invoke the obscure rule. Not to mention they will drop passes and take stupid penalties at the worst possible time.
