Voters Shut Out Hall of Fame Candidates

I feel sorry for clean candidates like Biggio and Morris.

I wonder how many votors returned ballots with no selections (as did one or two writers I've read). They try to make a statement about PEDs and the handling of the whole mess by MLB and MLBPA. One of the most immediate practical effects, however, is to maintain a high total from which candidates have to receive 75%.

The quick look at the headlines I had said (I think) that Clemens and Bonds received ~30-35% each. I was hoping for a more resounding repudiation - this makes me think they might make up the shortfall in just a couple of years.
