A LotH pretzel that I figure doesn't happen very often. So, today is prayed the Feast of the Visitation. I pray all 3 of the "little" hours (midmorning, midday, midafternoon), which means that I use the complementary psalmody in addition to the daytime prayer psalms for the day. The midmorning complementary Psalms are 120, 121, and 122; midday are 123, 124, and 125; midafternoon are 126, 127, and 128. Today I will pray the daytime hour during the midafternoon.
For Marian feasts, Psalm 122 and Psalm 127 are prayed during evening prayer. Therefore, the instruction is to pray during midmorning prayer
Psalm 129 instead of Psalm 122 and, during midafternoon prayer, Psalm 131 instead of Psalm 127, so that these Psalms are not prayed twice in the same day. Except that...the psalms for the day for daytime prayer today happen to include...
Psalm 129, which means I would be praying it twice today.
I resolved the pretzel by praying Psalm 131 instead of Psalm 122 at midmorning. I hope I do not need to get to confession for this.
