Mary,
Coptic catholics have a cardinal yes, and they have 7 dioceces.
In the middle eastern history, Alexandria and Antioch were called Papal Seats, but none really had a pope with the authority as Pope John Paul II, and none the patriarchs took the name Pope. For the copts they chose the name pope beccause their Leader is the one that caused the split in orthodox churches , some orthodox approve the council of Chalcedon and some do not, so Copts felt proud about it and gave him the name Pope, but he has no authority what so ever like our pope, not even close, he leads Copts only.
